(Beyond the Starry Vault)
Movement VI - Dans le sillage du ciel (In the wake of the sky)
My most recent work, this string quartet has also proven to be one of my more ambitious works while studying at The Juilliard School. This excerpt of the full work, the final movement, is a sort of love letter to this place we call home. Solemn yet hopeful harmonies weave in and out of each other to create, for me, a very personal and touching effect.

for large orchestra
An extremely fiery work for orchestra, depicting the sheer volcanic energy of the moon Io, one of over a hundred moons orbiting the planet Jupiter. Designed as an energetic third movement within a larger work, this piece stands alone as an effective closer to planetary or space-themed concerts
The Blaze-Bearers [Gemini]
for violin duo
This work for violin duo depicts not only the twin stars in the constellation we know as Gemini, but also the phenomenon that mariners have associated with them for centuries - St. Elmo’s Fire. A sort of green-blue, plasmatic sparking you can see on the tips of ship masts and plane wings when a storm is oncoming, these stars and this phenomenon have been signals of good tidings as sailers and aviators sail the planet.
