PALINOPSIA – a phenomenon in which an image (or in this case, sound) reoccurs though the initial stimulus has left. From Greek roots, the word means “seeing again”. This work explores two voices intertwining, calling and responding, and echoing one another in turn. Saying what seems to be the same thing, persistent in gesture, though the originating intent dissipates.
